Many years ago, I lived across the road from a guy who collected all kinds of stuff. One of his prized things was a building he made from power pole cross-arms with the wire insulator mounts all over. It had all kinds of rare glass insulators covering it. People kept stealing them until he put a sign on the door “God will get you for stealing insulators off this house!”. Never lost another insulator. Art was an outspoken atheist, apparently the insulator thieves weren’t.

His other neighbor’s husband was an insane hippy who thought he was a dog, thus the sign “Beware of the man”
