Silence
When I first started on this one, I didn’t know the name of the song nor the the artist in question used for that scene, it’s probably not common knowledge, so I’ve tried to add enough hints so that you can get the joke without having to know both, as well.
Speaking of that scene, this was probably my favorite part of “Clerks 2.”

C’mon you should have been all over the Kinky Kelly scene in Clerks 2. You know full well that Kelly can be a dude’s name. “Interspecies erotica F$%#wad!!!”

Nope. Totally don’t get it. But I’ve never seen Silence of the Lambs, and have never heard of the song, “Good Bye Horses” and have no idea who the singer is supposed to be …

Every time I hear Tom Petty’s “American Girl” it reminds me of Silence of the Lambs. “Hey, are about a size 14?”
