Snow Globe
Mark Parisi, who draws “Off the Mark,” has done a number of these “Post Sneeze” gags over the years, so when I thought of this one a few weeks back I was almost certain he would have already beaten me to it. So imagine my surprise when I searched his site, & didn’t spot one involving snow globes. However, it’s such a tired premise, I decided to just post this one as a bonus on Thursday.

I like this one. Mainly I like how you just randomly placed these 2 snow globes on a street corner. After all, that’s where all the cool “sneezy” snow globes hang.

Heh heh, I dunno, whether the premise is tired or not (I didn’t know it was), I still like this one. A snowglobe, whose face is on the “outside” of the snowglobe, but who somehow sneezes “inside” itself (in order to create the snow flurry) is just so…bizarrely illogical - or maybe bizarrely logical - that it works for me.
But regardless, if your high standards mean more bonus strips for me, heh heh, then by all means, feel free to criticize yourself more often. I’ll just sit back and enjoy all the inevitable bonus strips, tee hee!

@Cog
I don’t think he’s sneezing on the inside, i just think that he sneezed so hard he shook himself.

I don’t know why I found this one so funny…but I couldn’t stop giggling.

@Bookwyrm
Hmm…dammit, I think you’re right. I mean, that’s what people do with snowglobes - they shake them.
I guess sometimes it helps to completely misunderstand things, haha. But no worries - the strip still works for me (though I’m not sure if I can still say the same about my ability to interpret humour, heh heh).
…Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and watch some mundane things like kettles boiling and paint drying - I dunno, for some reason I just find that kind of stuff very “witty”.
(heh heh, if Kelly Ferguson ever reads this, don’t worry - I’m just joking. Your strip is awesome.)

CogNoman: No worries. Although, now I might have to re-work the cartoon I have set to run next week which features a boiling kettle watching the paint dry.
