What exactly is that supposed to be? A baby carrier or some futuristic satellite dish?

  2. Hatredlord

I think it’s a security baby seat. Complete with a baby, it would follow.

    I think it’s a baby carrier…

I realize I’m not the most gifted cartoonist, but I thought the car seat looked fairly accurate. I even did a GIS to make sure I was relatively close to ones on the market. I guess I should have gone with my gut & added a wee arm pointing out of the seat…

From where i sit it is painfully obvious that it is a car seat. And i hav to say this is funny as hell

Looking at this it would appear that the real moron is the blonde dude’s wife, or whomever is driving the green hatchback. The baby carrier is clearly positioned on the driver’s side rear of the vehicle, while the observer is in the front passengers seat. I would assume that the driver of the vehicle is the one who absentmindedly left the infant atop the car.

Hey, it’s all good! I love your comics. Keep them comin!

Brian: I seriously debated changing the thought balloon to a speech balloon which read, “Hey honey, that moron left his coffee cup on the roof!” since he was in the passenger side. In fact, I made all the necessary changes to the pic, then my Photo editing program crashed, just as I went to hit “save.”

    Beef Unit: Thanks, will do.

Honestly, I had to check the comments for the answer after pondering what the object might be for half a minute. A fan? Something unplugged? Something badly deformed? But yeah, I know drawing a safety seat from the back side may be hard ;)

“Ten years later, Ted wondered why his kid had such an aversion to roller-coasters…”
